Leap to Life is the name I am giving to my new venture into the world of illustration…

 

Since studying both practical Art and Art History courses after leaving school (first at Bournemouth Arts Institute and then at University College London), I have spent the last sixteen years working as a full time primary teacher. They have been valuable years of growing and learning, never short of exciting and challenging experiences and they have given me, among other things, a love for the presentation of children’s books and materials. I am now starting to pursue this newly rekindled and interestingly re-channelled Art love of mine in school holidays and at weekends.

 

I have been encouraged with some success - some work for an educational publishing company, a couple of book illustration projects and one or two private commissions. Please get in touch if you have a comment or question or would like to commission illustrations or a picture.
