Changing Lives & Hope for Tomorrow Global
Coloured pencil

This poster was commissioned by the charities Changing Lives and Hope for Tomorrow to promote their fundraising initiative in Burundi. In this country, the traditional long-horned Ankole cow, although a status symbol, only produces about 1L of milk a day and yet is often allowed to overgraze the land.  By comparison, Friesian cows thrive in pens and produce 10-15L of milk daily. By raising money for 'good cows' Changing LIves and Hope for Tomorrow are helped to lift Burundian families out of poverty. This poster, in which I have tried to show the many benefits of increased milk yield, was displayed for some months in King's Church, Granville Road, Ilford.
